Biography
Sabrina Sicari is Associate Professor. She received her degree in Electronic Engineering, 110/110 cum laude from the University of Catania, Catania, Italy, in 2002. In March 2006 she received her Ph.D. in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering at the same university, under the guidance of Prof. Aurelio La Corte. From September 2004 to March 2006 she has been a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Electronics and Computing, Politecnico di Milano, Italy under the guidance of Prof. Carlo Ghezzi. Since May 2006 she works at the Department of Computer Science and Communication, University of Insubria in software engineering group (head Prof. Alberto Coen-Porisini). Since 2008 she is a member of the Computer Networks (Elsevier) editorial board. Since 2016 she is also a member of the IEEE IoT editorial board and since 2017 she is a member of the editorial board of both ETT and ITL. In 2012 she was a guest editor of Ad Hoc (Elsvier) special issue "Security, privacy and trust in Internet of Thigs era" (SePrit). Dr. Sicari is an IEEE member.
