Biography
My name is Ezzoura ERRAMI, a Moroccan lecturer/researcher. I have a strong academic grounding in Earth Sciences field and over 12 years experience in international geoscientific professional organizations. I am currently working as a full Professor in the Geology Department of Chouaïb Doukkali University (Morocco) where I did my “Doctorat Es-Sciences” in 2001 in collaboration with Ruprecht Karls University (Germany). My current major research interest is petrology, geochemistry, structural geology, geoheritage, geotourism, geoeducation, sustainable development and gender related studies in geosciences.I am also author and coauthor of many scientific papers, conferences papers, books, reports and guidebooks. I chaired or being member of organizing committees and/or scientific committees of many international scientific events. I serve as, AAWG assistant general secretary, president and AGN and DESAME coordinator, IUGS Councillor, ArabU vice president, CIFEG Managing Board member, IAPG Africa coordinator. As part of my international expanse I am fluent in 4 languages. I am positively open minded, sociable, encouraging easy and open contact and fluid integration in multicultural groups. Through my work, my numerous activities and engagements, in national and international organizations, I have gained strong experience in leadership, negotiation, innovation, public speaking, communication, team work, coaching, editing, project delivery, report evaluation, sponsorship and fund raising, including the organization of national and international scientific and cultural events. I also gained wide international networks involving scientific communities, politicians and stakeholders. Through my activities, I aggressively promote numerous principles that I believe in, especially peace for sustainable socio-economic development, regional and international integration, scientific ethics...I believe in the importance of human dimension in all scientific related activities.
