IRBM Science Park S.p.A.
Scientist with 15 years experience in neurodegeneration, including significant line management, networking and project leadership experience. He have worked in all preclinical phases of the drug discovery process, with a focus on target/mechanism validation and preclinical PoC development. Interests: protein misfolding diseases (Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease), post-translational modifications, Wnt signalling. He obtained a B.Sc.in Biology at UCL in 1989 (First Class Hons) and a D.Phil. in molecular biology in the group of Prof. Chris Graham (FRS) at the University of Oxford in 1993, with a Cancer Research Campaign studentship. Post-doctoral fellow in the same group until 1995 discovering a role for the Wilms' tumour protein WT in post-transcriptional regulation.
