Biography
She is currently head of Preclinical Research at IRBM Science Park, a spin-off of the Italian research site of Merck Research Laboratories, managing a group of 30 scientists. The last position held during work in Merck was Preclinical Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Site Head. She have also acted as co-director of the Pharmaceutical Research and Development (PR&D) group. She have extensive expertise in moving drug-discovery programs from lead identification to regulatory filings (IND/CSA) of both small molecules and peptides. Main therapeutic areas: antivirals and oncology.
