Biography
Filippo Troiani graduated in Physics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 1998, with a mark of 110 / 110 cum laude. In 2002 he obtained the PhD in Physics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, under the supervision of Prof. Elisa Molinari. He spent a two-years postdoc in the group of Prof. Carlos Tejedor, at the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid. In the period 2008-2011 he has been visiting several times the group of Prof. Daniel Loss at the University of Basel. He's currently permanent Researcher at S3 Istituto Nanoscienze-CNR.
Research Interest
quantum entanglement in molecular nanomagnets; hyperfine-induced decoherence in molecular spin clusters; implementation of quantum computation and simulation in molecular nanomagnets; semiconductor-based quantum optics.
