Biography
Dr. Daniele Morelli is the Head of the Simple Departmental Department of Clinical Chemistry and Microbiology. He graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Milan and at the same University. In 1987, he worked as a research fellow at the Experimental Oncology Division of the National Cancer Institute of Milan on the project "Production and characterization of monoclonal antibodies directed against lung carcinomas". From 1988 to 1991 he has been working as a Researcher and then Head of Biochemistry Laboratory at Zambon Research spa, where he studies the mechanism of action of anti-allergic and antioxidant drugs at the respiratory system level. From 1992 to 1997 he has been researching as a Fellow of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità at the Immunology Chair of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan. He then became Associate Researcher at the Experimental Oncology Division of the National Cancer Institute, where he studies on possible therapeutic use of conventional and non-conventional drug delivery systems.
