Biography
Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1978 at full marks at the University of Milan. Since 1977 he has been working with the Division of Oncological Surgery of the Institute for Study and Treatment of Tumors in Milan. In 1982 specialization in Oncology at the University of Genoa. Since 1984 he has been working as an Associate Researcher with urological and in particular testicular tumors at the Department of Oncology of Urology of the Institute for Study and Care of Tumors in Milan. In 1988 he was specializing in General Surgery at the University of Milan. In 1999 Urology Specialization at the University of Milan. From 1st September 1990 to 31st December 2006 1st Level Medical Manager at the Urology Unit (Oncology Surgical Oncology) of the National Institute for Study and Treatment of Tumors in Milan. From January 2007 to today he is Director of the Urology Surgery of the IRCCS Foundation of the National Institute of Tumors of Milan. He is the author or co-author of over 100 scientific publications in uro-oncology.
