Biography
Dr. Laurenne Hemily-Figus has had a long and distinguished career in international finance and investment banking. After working in research for a member of US Congress, consulting for international organizations, she worked in commercial and investment banking. These positions included, The Chase Manhattan Bank (UK and Italy), Barclays Bank (Italy), Continental Bank (UK and Italy) and First Chicago (UK & USA). She had the responsibility of developing, structuring and distributing a number of sophisticated products like LBO. Dr. Hemily-Figus has received a B.S.F.S from The Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, a M.Sc. in International Economics from the London School of Economics and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Kings College in London, UK. She is tri-lingual in English, French and Italian as well
