Biography
Francesco Bonomi acts as a Department head (since 2005) and Full professor, Biochemistry (since 2000) Associate professor, Biochemistry (1982-2000)
Research Interest
His research interests include: process-induced modification of proteins in the frame of folding-unfolding processes of biotechnological relevance; structural determinants of stability in proteins and metallo-proteins; food allergens of protein nature; metabolism of metals. He has been the co-ordinator of large projects sponsored by different entities of the Italian government, and has been the recipient of national and international funds.
