Biography
Elisa Viola graduated with honors in Chemistry at Sapienza, University of Rome (2004) and in 2008 she received her PhD in Chemical Sciences. Since 2009, she is a post-doc researcher. Currently, she works as Assistant Professor (temporary position, RTD-A) at the Department of Chemistry of Sapienza, University of Rome. She has teaching experience at various universities. She is author of 25 papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, 1 patent, and about 40 contributions in conference proceedings.
Research Interest
Research activity is mainly focused on the design, synthesis, general chemico-physical characterization and photochemical study of novel porphyrazine macrocycles, suitable for biomedical and sensing applications
