Biography
Fabio graduated in Medicine in 1988, specialized in General Surgery in 1993 and worked in a hospital from 1989 to 1993. From 1994 on, Fabio had his 18 years career development in Healthcare Industry, either in Italy, in France and in UK, mostly in multinational organization like Servier, Eli Lilly and Merck Sharp & Dohme. His experience in pharma was in Medical Dept. in different roles (from preclinical to early and late clinical development, from Regulatory to PhV, from Market Access to Medical Affairs to BD). Fabio’s key competences must be considered at the intersection of R&D, Medical Affairs and Business Support. During his career, Fabio worked in the main therapeutic fields (Primary Care, Hospital and Specialty) in different positions (from Project Manager to Product Physician, from Medical Affairs Manager to Medical Director), launched several drugs and had direct responsibility of different teams (often newly created and placed under his guidance). Fabio is member of the Pharmacology Italian Society (SIF) and of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM); he’s also member of different working groups of Medical Affairs and MSL (in Italy and Worldwide) Fabio is considered by his partners and customers a person strongly motivated to achieve objectives, rapid in taking decisions and well prepared to make a personal commitment to ensure success. He is well organized, with a strong focus on ensuring needs delivered to customer expectations. He is considered an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. He’s able to build long-term clients relationships, to create new teams and to manage them effectively. He knows how to be an effective customer-centric manager, how to be fast and creative in finding solutions and how to effectively handle challenging negotiations and scenarios (six-sigma approach)
