Biography

Amir Lichter, Vice President of Product Development and Life Cycle, joined Lumenis in 2012. He brings nearly 16 years of experience in R&D and product development processes. Amir possesses vast technical experience in Networking and Medical architectures and took part in research activities together with academia and hospitals. Prior to joining Lumenis he served for 9 years as R&D Director for General-Electric (GE) Healthcare. Prior to that, he worked for Charlotte’s-Web-Networks for 4 years, managing the SW department, and responsible for developing a Core-Router for Internet data traffic. Amir also worked for Elbit Systems for 4 years leading software development efforts. Amir holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a BA degree in Computer Science – both from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. In addition, he holds an Executive MBA degree from the Haifa University.
