Biography
Daniel M. Coombs is executive vice president of Global Manufacturing, Projects, Refining and Technology for LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies. Coombs joined the company in 2015 and has additional responsibility for Procurement in his current role. Previously he led the Global Intermediates & Derivatives and Olefins & Polyolefins businesses with LyondellBasell. Prior to joining LyondellBasell, Coombs held various executive positions with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company including, senior vice president of Manufacturing; senior vice president Specialties, Aromatics and Styrenics; vice president Corporate Planning & Development and vice president Qatar and deputy general manager Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. Coombs serves on the board of the United Way of Greater Houston.
