Salvatore Esposito

Biography

Born in 1960, he graduated in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic of Naples, in 1984, he started his professional activity planning important infrastructure works in collaboration with SIA srl from 1984 to 1992. From 1992 to 2013 he worked with Progin SpA carrying out an intensive technical management activity of large infrastructure projects assuming different positions in technical management and then in the corporate governance. From 1999 to 2013 he was the Managing Director and later the President of the Board of Directors; he has also been a partner since 1992. From 1991 to 2002 he took an active part in the development of the “Italian High-Speed Railway System”, holding engineering and management positions in the consortium TPLAV supporting Italferr SpA of FS Group, for the rail sections Rome/Naples, Bologna/Florence, Milan/Verona and for urban penetrations of Naples, Rome and Bologna. From 2012 to 2013, in association with Anas SpA, he was involved in the development of motorway concessions programme for a government agency of Colombia. From 2013 to 2015, he worked with Toto Group to develop a modernization programme of A24 and A25 highways and railway and motorway projects. In April 2015 he joined Maire Tecnimont Group assuming the position of Managing Director of the company dedicated to civil infrastructure and then also to renewable energies, now known as Neosia.
