Biography
Dr. Meadows works to combine academic rigour and new and innovative techniques in the assessment of patient reported outcomes and experience. He is also author of the Diabetes Health Profile, an internationally used measure of the psychological impact of living with diabetes. Dr. Meadows consults at DHP Research, their particular area of specialisation is the emotional and behavioral impact and experience of living with diabetes. Dr. Meadows in addition to his research and consultancy activities, lectures at post graduate level on questionnaire design and health-related quality of life. Dr. Meadows’s specialist areas include the psychological impact of living with diabetes and patient reported outcome measurement and has experience working both internationally and in the UK. Dr. Meadows is a Health Psychologist with over 25 years of research experience and has held a number of senior academic and UK NHS research positions. Dr. Meadows has worked with organisations such as Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline and NovoNordisk. Keith has published widely as well as presented papers at major conferences. Dr. Meadows was Associate Director of the North East London Consortium for Research & Development (NELCRAD) where he was responsible for strategy development, capacity building and increasing primary care research across east London.
