Massimiliano Del Citerna

Biography

Dr. Del Citerna graduated with honors in 2009 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Perugia, with thesis entitled: "Reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament with tendons of autologous hamstrings: correlation between anatomical characteristics of the tendons and parameters clinicians "and subsequently specialized with honors in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Perugia in 2015.  In 2010 he did his internship at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Perugia and from 2009 to 2012 he attended the Orthopedic Department of Narni Hospital.  He has attended numerous courses and congresses in Italy for the deepening of the issues concerning orthopedic diseases in general and those of the knee and ankle in particular. He is the author of several publications in national magazines and took part as a learner at numerous Cadaver Labs at the Nicola's Foundation in Arezzo.  Since 2009 he attends and participates in orthopedic surgical activity at the "Elledue Clinic" of Perugia.  Since 2012 he has been a Federal Doctor of the Football Federation of the National Amateur League of Umbria and from 2011 to 2015 he was the Social Physician of Perugia Calcio in the Giovanissimi Nazionali category.  Since 2013 he has worked as an Orthopedic Consultant for Perugia Calcio a 5 and since 2014 as an Orthopedic Consultant for Rieti Calcio a 5 and an Orthopedic Consultant for La Cascina Orte Calcio a 5.
