Biography
Dr. Nicola Boari graduated at the University of Pavia in 2001 with top marks and honors. Specialized in Neurosurgery at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2006 with top marks and honors. Research Fellow in 2005 and in 2010 at George Washington University (Washington, DC, USA), where he conducted studies on surgical approaches to the skull base. He attended advanced courses abroad in many European and American Universities. In 2011 he received the European Certificate of Neurosurgery (EANS). Author of numerous scientific publications in international journals and co-author of book chapters. Currently he practices as Senior Member of the Staff at the Division of Neurosurgery and Gamma Knife, at San Raffaele University Hospital in Milan. His fields of interest are surgery of brain tumors, minimally invasive spine surgery and stereotactic radiosurgery with Gamma Knife. Practice the oxygen-ozone therapy for conservative treatment of diseases of the spine.
