Biography

Dr Giuseppe Tagarelli is Researcher of Institute of Neurological Sciences (National Research Council). He received his phD in Anthropological Sciences from University of Florence in 2007. From 2006 to 2012, he was adjunct professor of Anthropology, Biology of Human Populations and Demo-Ethno-Anthropological Sciences at University of Messina. From 2006 to 2008, he teached Anthropology at University of Mater Bonii Consili of Tirana (Albania). Dr Giuseppe Tagarelli attends to: Biodemographic and genetic studies about isolated populations; History of Medicine studies, in particular refered to the past epidemics (cholera, smallpox, syphilis and malaria), and studies about folk medicine.
