Biography

Dr Spencer has been with Nicox since 2005. Prior to joining Nicox, Dr. Spencer served as senior manager, new technology and product innovation at Novartis Consumer Health, where he had responsibilities in the identification, evaluation and development of new technologies. Dr. Spencer began his career at Boots Healthcare International in product development and opportunity evaluation roles. Dr. Spencer has more than 20 years of management and operational experience in the life sciences industry across many strategic roles. and has been key in building and managing the partnerships, including closing the 2006 Pfizer deal, the 2010 Bausch + Lomb deal and the VISUfarma deal. Dr. Spencer holds a B.Sc. in chemistry with first class honors and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Aberdeen. Dr Spencer has been with Nicox since 2005.
