Biography
Previously, Antonella was Researcher and Group Leader at IRBM, where she initially contributed to disease-specific antigen discovery by phage displayed peptide and then led the work that characterized the role of T-cells in providing protective immunity against HCV. This work opened the path towards the preclinical and clinical development of genetic vaccines for the prevention and potential therapy of HCV. Antonella has authored several scientific publications in journals such as Nature Medicine and the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) journal on subjects, including peptide phage display technology, immunology, viral infections and vaccines. Antonella conducted post-doctoral studies in immunology at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC) in Strasbourg, France.
