Biography
intersection of media and communication. At UK I continued this interest by majoring in Integrated Strategic Communication with a path in Public Relations/Event Marketing, a minor in Communications and an emphasis in Journalism. Through my studies, I have developed a diverse skill set encompassing public speaking, writing, and news reporting. My diverse experience also includes significant exposure to event planning. I have proven my passion and dedication to media by working as a field reporter and in management as a Promotions Director for Wildcat Student TV, the student run broadcast at UK. I have also been a writer for the college newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel, a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, and serve as a sorority Social Chair coordinating events to bring Greek organizations together.
