Biography

Gained a fellowship in the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute: “Neoplastic and systemic diseases" with lasted from 1/10/1987 to 30/10/89. He served in the USL No. 35 of Ravenna as orthopedic assistant from 18/06/1990 to 03/17/1991 and then from 08/29/1991 to 04/17/1992. Worked at the ' Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute as supply orthopedic doctor from 18/03/1991 to 28/08/1991, and as permanent managing orthopedic doctor from 18.04.1992 to date. E was previously Head of Unit "Prosthetic Surgery in Secondary Coxarthrosis " and currently Head of the Specialist Center "Clinical Applications of Regenerative Medicine in orthopedics” at the IOR Ist Clinic, Director Prof. Armando Giunti. He is 'member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the of the International Cartilage Repair Society.

Orthopaedic: Prosthetic and revision surgery of hip and knee, hip arthroscopy. Arthroplasty in severe secondary osteoarthritis of the hip. Applications of Regenerative Medicine in Orthopaedics: treatment of femour epiphyseal necrosis and joint biological reconstruction, Treatment of nonunion of long bones, Treatment of osteochondral injury
