2007-Present: Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Medical Genetics, Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Bologna; 2008-2010: Assistant Professor Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences at the University of Bologna for the course “Bioinformatics for Medical Genetics”; 2003-2007: PhD Student at the Department of Medical Genetics, Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Bologna; 2002-2004: Research Fellow at the Department of Medical Genetics, Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, Bologna; 2001: Summer Student at the National Cancer Institute - NIH, Bethesda, MA (USA) supported by a grant from the University of Bologna.
