Biography
Paolo Manunta specializes in Cardiology and Nephrology. He devoted most of his career to the study of arterial hypertension, a topic he dealt with during his research at the University of Maryland, United States. Other fields of interest are the treatment of chronic kidney failure, diabetic nephropathy, polycystic kidney disease and electrolyte imbalances. Since 2007 he has been Director of the Strategic Research Project in Nephrology and Dialysis at the San Raffaele University Institute of Science and Director of the School of Specialization in Nephrology at the Vita-Salute University. He has received numerous awards for his business and is a member of prestigious international scientific societies. He also collaborates with several medical journals.
