Biography
Degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Padua. Winner of 2 scholarships of the "A. Gini" Foundation for conducting research abroad in the field of Plant Physiology, at the Pflanzenphysiologisches Institut in Bern (1990), and at the University of California at Berkeley (1994-95 ). As a visiting graduate (doctoral) student at the University of Berkeley, he attended courses in molecular biology biology, plant physiology and microscopy techniques, and conducted research into the damage done by ultraviolet radiation on photosynthesis. He obtained the title of PhD in Photobiology in 1996.
