Biography

"Annalisa Dameri is a Associate Professor of Architecture and Design at Polytechnic University of Turin. She is Certified researcher (disciplinary sector ICAR 18) at the Politecnico di Torino, Faculty of Architecture 2, graduate in architecture, Specialist in History, Analysis and Evaluation of Architectural and Environmental Heritage, holds the title of Doctor of Research attending the PhD course In History and Criticism of Architectural and Environmental Heritage at the Casa-Città Dipartimento del Politecnico di Torino where he has been teaching and research until December 2011. Since January 1, 2012 he has been working at the Department of Architecture and Design of the Politecnico di Torino. Professor of History of Architectural and Construction Techniques, History of Contemporary Architecture, Fundamentals of Architecture History. Her research has mainly focused on subjects of the city's history in modern and contemporary age, particularly highlighting the culture of building in Piedmont between the XVIII and the XIX century. The heritage, in its urban and environmental context, was the object of analysis, inquiries and data-base. In addition, the close relationship between towns and architecture in the XIX and XX centuries in Piedmont was her subject. She analyzed architectural modules, cultural context as well as professional working."
