Biography
Fulvio Rinaudo is an Associate Professor of Topography and Photogrammetry since 1999 at the I Faculty of Engineering of the Politecnico of Turin and from 1st December 2006 at the 2nd Faculty of Architecture. Author of over 140 articles on national and international magazines. From 1991 to 1997 he is the Secretary of the European Organization for Experimental Photogrammetric Research (OEEPE) Commission "Large Scale Mapping" and is responsible for the Italian research unit participating in the OEEPE test "Comparison of national guidelines for technical and cadastral mapping in Europe" . From 1992 to 1994 he is responsible for the Italian group for the participation in the international CIPA test "Karlsplatz". Since 2000 he has been responsible for the Politecnico di Torino research group for the design and implementation of a territorial information system for the multidisciplinary archaeological documentation of a territorial sphere. Since 2001 he has been responsible for the Politecnico di Torino research group for the use of laser scanner technology in the detection of architectural objects and cultural and environmental assets. Since 2003 she has been a scientific consultant for the Piedmont Region Cultural and Environmental Heritage Services on topics related to GIS and LIDAR applications for cultural heritage (Knowledge Building for the Restoring of the SS Shroud Chapel). Head of the Research Unit of the Politecnico di Torino within the COFIN2002 " The CIPA (http://cipa.icomos.org/) is responsible for the Working Group II "Documentation and Documentation and the CIPA (http://cipa.icomos.org/) and the Task Group 9" Generic GIS Template for the Management of Heritage Places " Information Management ". Since 2007, he is a member of the CIPA Executive Bureau.
