Biography
Claudia Di Zenobio, M.A.,Ph.D., DMT (A.P.I.D. member) Licensed Psychologist, Psychotherapist and DanceMovementTherapist, has several years of experience working in Italy and the United States with individuals at all levels of development. She received her M.A. in Psychology from University of Rome La Sapienza and her M.A. in DanceMovementTherapy from the Tuscany Center of Dance Therapy and Art of Florence (certified by A.P.I.D.). She studied the American approach to Creative Arts Therapy, completing a Certificate Program at the New School University of New York. As a Psychologist, Ms. Di Zenobio runs a private practice following the method of her training in Family Therapy, obtained at the Institute for Relational Psychotherapy of Rome and at the Ackerman Institute for the Family of New York. As a DanceMovementTherapist, she worked, in Rome and New York, at Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers for adults and children, working with people with disabilities, behavioral disorders, learning and relationship disorders, with psychiatric disorders and with anyone wishing to experience the joy of free expression through movement.
