Biography
Giorgio Carabelli has more than 15 years of experience in environmental consulting. He is a geologist with expertise in hydrogeological investigations, soil and groundwater investigations, site characterisation and remediation, monitoring activities, design of remediation systems and emergency measures (pump and treat and capping), in situ remediation (chemical oxidation) and technical support for legal proceedings and litigation and administrative cases. He has worked for several Italian sites including chemical, petrochemical and manufacturing plants and Sites of National Interest (SIN) for the Italian Environmental Ministry. He has edited health and safety plans for employees of Ramboll Environ’s Milan office. Giorgio has an MSc in Geological Sciences from the Earth Science Department of Statale University of Milan.
