Biography
Born on June 8, 1964 in Chivasso (TO). In his professional work as an educator, he was involved in training and guidance for the employment of disabled people and was responsible for the area of ​​European policies and planning on social inclusion and new poverty. He started political and administrative activity in 1991 in Casalborgone (TO), where he was a councilor from 1991 to 1993 and then Mayor until 2004. Thanks to this experience he has gained a strong awareness of the importance of enhancing the territory and in particular the small municipalities, consolidated during the mandates of President of the Consortium "Terra dei Santi" and "Colline del Po", representative of the Consortium of the small municipalities ANCI and the territorial pact of Ivrea for the municipalities of the Po Po more than the Chivassese. In 2005 he was appointed Councilor for Education and Training at the Junta Bresso. In 2007 he joined the Democratic Party by participating in his constituent phase. In 2010 he was elected for the first time at the regional council (proportional share) in the Turin district, with 6,422 votes in preference.
