Biography
Pietro Salini has served as Chief Executive Officer of Salini Impregilo (formerly Impregilo) since July 2012. He earned his degree in Economics and Business Administration from La Sapienza University of Rome and began his professional career in 1985 working for the family company, Salini Costruttori SpA, becoming its Chief Executive Officer in 1994, a position he still holds. Pietro Salini also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Co.Ge.Ma. S.p.A., Sole Director of Pietro Salini & C. S.r.l. and, as such, Deputy Chairman and Member of the Board of General Partners of Salini Simonpietro e C. S.a.p.A. He is also a Member of the Board of Confindustria (the main Association representing manufacturing and services companies in Italy) and Executive Committee Member of Assonime (the Association of the Italian joint stock companies).
