Biography
He has over 40 years of experience in biochemistry. Dr. Smith’s therapeutic area of focus on our Scientific Advisory Board is endocrine hormones. Dr. Smith received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of London. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Metabolism and Aging at Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter, Florida; and is focused on understanding the basis of metabolic diseases and identifying the physiological changes that cause loss of function during aging.
