Biography
She works in research of innovative pharmaceutical technologies since 1981. She currently manages a research group interested in the development of new pharmaceutical technologies, for the production of micro- and nano-systems that lead tocontrolled release of the drug and site-specific absorption to the lung, intestin and skin. Her studies (over 150 publications, books, chapters of text and patents) have been published in many international journals. Since 2002 she is Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy (DIFARMA) of the University of Salerno, where she is currently the Director.
