Biography

Mauro’s intellectual property practice began in 2004. He has acquired experience in advising clients on trademarks and domain names as well as on copyrights, geographical indications and denominations of origin. He handles trademark disputes out of court. Mauro’s clients include major Italian companies as well as multinational corporations. Lecturing and publishing Mauro has lectured on trademark and IT law issues in academic, management and professional seminars at the Polytechnic University of Milan, the Italian Trade Agency, the CUOA business school, the Venice Design Week and the Higher School of Economics and Finance of the Italian Ministry of the Economy and Finance. He regularly contributes articles on intellectual property and IT law issues to several journals. Main areas of practice Trademark portfolio management. Trademark counseling. Dispute resolution out of court. Memberships Member of the Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale (Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute), of INTA and MARQUES. Education Five-year degree in Diplomatic and International Studies, Specialisation as International Economic Operator, University of Trieste. Master of Laws in IT Law, University of Padua. Masters in Intellectual property and international contract law, Italian Trade Agency and Higher School of Economics and Finance of the Italian Ministry of the Economy and Finance.
