Biography

Riccardo’s intellectual property practice started in 2009 and has focused on the protection and registration of trademarks and designs as well as on opposition, invalidity and revocation procedures before the European Union Intellectual Property Office – EUIPO and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office. He also resolves disputes in and out of court and handles anticounterfeiting, customs surveillance and contracts. Publications Riccardo has authored papers and articles on trademarks and indications of origin. Main areas of practice Trademark and design filing and prosecution. Dispute resolution in and out of court. Anticounterfeiting, customs surveillance. IP related contracts. Memberships Member of the Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale (Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute) and of the Rome Bar. Qualifications Attorney-at-law, member of the Rome Bar. Italian and European Trademark Attorney, Community Design Attorney. Education Degree in Law, University of Bologna. Advanced Course on Intellectual Property organised by World Intellectual Property Organisation – WIPO, University of Dubrovnik. Masters in Intellectual Property Management, Alma Graduate School of Bologna. Course for experts in intellectual property protection specialising in the Chinese market, Italian Trade Promotion Agency and Tongji University of Shanghai.
