Biography
Gianni Medoro is a co-founder of Menarini Silicon Biosystems and has served as their CSO ever since. He is the inventor of the core technology patent on the moving DEP cages, and co-inventor in several other company patents. He received his degree in 1999 and Ph.D. in 2004 in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Bologna, Italy. He is co-author of more than 30 scientific papers among which “A CMOS Chip for Individual Cell Manipulation and Detection" received the IEEE 2003 International Solid Circuit Conference Jan Van Vessem Award for outstanding European papers.
