Biography
Rakesh joined Speciality European Pharma in January 2009 as the Vice President of Marketing. He was appointed to the role of UK General Manager in March 2010 and to the position of General Manager, Northern Europe in May 2013. Rakesh was appointed to the Board of Speciality European Pharma in May 2016 and became Chief Operating Officer in January 2017. Prior to joining Speciality European Pharma, Rakesh spent 5 years at Takeda as EU Head of Specialty Products and various roles in Corporate Development (2004 – 2009). Prior to his time at Takeda, Rakesh was UK Marketing Manager at Pfizer in the UK (2003 – 2004) and held various sales and marketing related positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn (1996 – 2003). Rakesh is a Biochemistry graduate of University College of London.
