Nadine Francis West

Biography

Ms. West joined Protein Sciences in 2014 as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary. Previously, she served as Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary and led the Finance and Administration Team of the MetroHartford Alliance. Prior to joining the Alliance, Ms. West served in the administration of former Hartford Mayor Michael Peters and practiced law in the corporate law department of Aetna, Inc. She is a member of the Executive Committee and Chair of the HR/Compensation Committee of the Hartford Stage Company, a Board Member of the UConn Foundation and Achieve Hartford!, a local education fund. Ms. West serves as an overseer of the Bushnell Performing Arts Center and is a Corporator of both Hartford Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Research Interest

She is also the interim President of the Board of Upper Albany Main Street. Ms. West was Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Development Committee of the Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, Inc. She has also served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of Development of the YWCA for the Hartford Region. Ms. West is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber's Institute of Organization Management and a 2009 Fellow of the Ford Foundation and American Chamber of Commerce Fellowship for Regional and Sustainable Development. She received a BA from SUNY Stony Brook and a JD from the University of Connecticut and is admitted to the Connecticut Bar.
