Biography
Mike started his marine insurance career in 1978 at Willis, Faber and Dumas, quickly completed his ACII and was then promoted to become at the time one of their youngest divisional directors.In the late nineties he was appointed Managing Director of the CE Heath marine division and has subsequently held senior Marine roles at three of the major global brokers. He enjoys professional relationships with clients, underwriters and the PandI Clubs at the highest level and has taken the account executive responsibility for producing and servicing major corporate clients in the construction, broking and development of their insurance programmes. Mike was elected to the Marine Executive of the London and International Insurance Brokers Association in 2004, and continues to help this trade association represent the interests of Lloyd's insurance brokers. Michael White Technician Michael has 7 years Insurance experience having started working at Benfield's (now AonBenfield) in 2005 as a Premium and Treaty Technician dealing with both proportional and non proportional Japanese business. Michael then moved to Alsford Page and Gems in 2009 as a Broker back up technician assisting Brokers in the placing of both Marine and Non-marine business. Michael joined Channing Lucas and Partners Ltd in May 2012
