Biography
Prof. Loewenstein is the author of over 264 peer reviewed articles, more than 200 presentations at scientific meetings and lectures as invited professor and is the Editor-in-Chief of Case Reports in Ophthalmology. Her research interests include age-related macular degeneration (AMD), especially early detection and treatment modalities, retinal vein occlusion, diabetic retinopathy and the investigation of drug toxicity to the retina.
