Biography
Prof. Susanna is the author of 70 peer reviewed articles and author of 32 book chapters, presented 500+ lectures at national and international meetings and a member of numerous editorial boards including Glaucoma Now. He has received of numerous honours including International Scholar Award, American Glaucoma Society, World Glaucoma Association Founders Award, World Glaucoma Association Founders and XII Prize for Medicine Brazil, and Brazil nurtured Committee Prize for Medicine. Prof. Susanna is affiliated with many societies, including: President of the World Glaucoma Organization (2009-2010); President and founder of the Latin America Glaucoma Society (2000-2008); President of Pan American Glaucoma Society; Member of the board of Glaucoma Research Society; and Member of the International Committee; International Advocacy Committee of ARVO.
