Biography
Michele Elia joined TAP as Italy Country Manager in April 2016. Michele built a career of over 40 years at the Italian State Railways Company, Ferrovie dello Stato (FS). Most recently, Michele held the position of CEO for FS from 2014 – 2015 and from 2006 – 2014, as CEO for Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (the infrastructure managing company for FS). Michele graduated from the University of Bari in Electro-Technical Engineering, joining Ferrovie dello Stato in 1975.
