Biography
Walter Peeraer was appointed President of TAP in June 2017. Walter joins TAP as the former Managing Director and Board Member of Fluxys S.A, the Belgian-based European gas transmission assets management company. Within Fluxys, Peeraer held various senior positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Fluxys Belgium. Previously, Walter served as General Manager of Strategy, Communications and Administration of Electrabel SA, Director-General of Eni Gas & Power NV (Distrigas S.A.), Director of Swedegas AB, as well as Director of Elia System Operator SA. Walter holds degrees in Law and Criminology from Université catholique de Louvain and in tax science from Université libre de Bruxelles.
