Ottavia Gambardella

Biography

I graduated in Architecture at the University of Naples Federico II, I practiced as an Architect, and obtained a PhD in Urban Design and Urban Planning, with a thesis committed to deepening the BIM processes and their application to the emerging context of the Smart Cities and the interdisciplinary digital revolution. I developed my professional skills in the United States, where I was committed to the implementation of BIM processes strategies, for both technical and applicative aspects, in the Marketing & Sales field. In the meanwhile, I specialized in Project Management at the University of California Berkeley Extension. I am currently working as a Project Manager in the Building Construction Division of Trimble. I am mainly involved in the coordination and implementation of BIM methodologies, aimed at the execution of solutions that integrate the office with the field and the digital world with the real one.
