Dr. Federico M. Rubino is Senior Research Associate and Manager of the Analytical Toxicology and Metabonomics Laboratory (Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine of Università degli Studi di Milano at Ospedale San Paolo).Degree in Chemistry (Milano, 1985), Chartered Chemist(1986), Degree in Toxicology (Milano, 2000)
Research Interest
Characterization by mass spectrometric techniques of molecules of biological interest, such as drugs, biopolymers, toxic metals and organics.Investigation on the bio-reactivity of heavy metal and xenobiotic metabolites by physicochemical methods. Discovery of novel biomarkers of oxidative stress and of cellular proliferation. Measurement and modeling studies of indoor air quality in office and hospital buildings
