 Position Held : 1990: Degree in "Science of Agriculture", University of Milan.1990-1991: Post graduate scholarship holder at the Italian Experimental Institute"Lazzaro Spallanzani", Milan, Italy.1993-2000: Researcher at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, State University of Camerino (MC),Italy.1995: Ph.D. in "Animal Husbandry", University of Milan. Title of the Thesis: “Effects of Avoparcin and recombinant bovine Somatotropin administration on dairy cows milk quality”. 1995-1996: Visiting scientist at the Muscle Biology Lab, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA (six months period, National Research Council grant).1998-1999: Visiting scientist at the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA (11 months period, North Atlantic Treaty Organization grant).2000-2003: Member of the Teachers' Council of the Ph.D. Course in "Production and Hygiene in Aquaculture", University of Camerino (MC),Italy.2000-2005: Associate professor of "Animal Husbandry" at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Camerino (MC),Italy.Since 2006: Full professor of Animal Feeding and Nutrition at the Faculty of Pharmacy,University of Camerino (MC),Italy.Working Experiences2001: Teacher Coordinator of the post graduate course in "Natural Livestock Production Systems, with particular regard to the Organic Food production methods", funded by the Marche Region at the University of Camerino (MC), Italy.2004-2005: Member of the Academy Board of the University of Camerino (MC),Italy.2005: Scientific consultant as expert of animal husbandry in the Agency for the Development of Agriculture of the Marche Region, Ancona, Italy.2005: Member of the Scientific Board of the Master "Marketing and Rural Development", University of Macerata, Italy; teacher of "Suistanible breeding techniques of food producinganimals" in the above mentioned Master.Since 2006: Member of the Teachers' Council of the Ph.D. Course in "Ageing and Nutrition"University of Camerino (MC),Italy.Since 2006: Member of the working group "Food Chain Management" of the european technology platform "Italian Food for Life".2008-2010: Member of the Editorial Board of the journal Small Ruminant Research, Elsevier Publisher, The Netherlands.2008-2011: Member of the Scientific Committee of the University ofCamerino,Italy.Since 2009: Member of “Expert database of EFSA (European Food Safety Agency)”Since 2011: Member of the Editorial Board of the Open Journal of Animal Science, SCIRP Publisher,USA.Since 2011: Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Food Research, Canadian Centre of Science and Education, Canada.
