1997 : Degree in Biological Sciences with the highest marks and praise at the Faculty of Physical and Natural Mathematical Sciences, University of Naples "Federico II". 1998-1999 : Apprenticeship for Biology Professor at the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Cellular Medicine "L. Califano" of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Naples University Federico II.

 1999-2002 : PhD in Cellular and Molecular Genetics at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Cellular Pathology "L. Califano" of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Naples University Federico II.
 2001-2006 : Researcher in Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology (SSD MED07) at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Naples Federico II. 2006 to present : Associate Professor in Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology (SSD MED07) at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples Federico II.
Research Interest
-Studio of epigenetic modifications (changes in the state of methylation of DNA and chromatin conformation) triggered by infectious bacterial processes in human cells. -Studio of functional connections between intestinal microbiosis and specific pathological conditions of the host through metagenomic approaches.
