Biography

Dr. Elisa Magli was born in Cisternino (BR) on 20/12/1983. - On March 27, 2008, he obtained his degree in pharmacy with 110/110 votes and praise at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Naples "Federico II", discussing an experimental thesis in Pharmacy and Toxicology Chemistry titled " Summary and pharmacological characterization of new serotoninergic ligands of N'-cyanoisonicotinamidine nucleus ", rapporteur Prof. Giuseppe Caliendo. - In December 2008 he won the entrance examination, for qualifications and examinations, at the School of Doctoral Research in Medicine Science at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Naples "Federico II". - From January 2009 to today, Dr. Magli, as a material practitioner , participates as an actual member at the following examination commissions: · Analytical Chemistry and Analysis of Medicines I (Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy - odd and odd matrices) · Pharmacy Extraction and Synthesis Laboratory (Master's Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology - odd and odd matrices) · Analysis of Medicines II (PhD degree in Pharmacy - equivalent matricules) · Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry I (Master's Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology - odd and odd matrices) · Toxicological Chemistry Analysis (3-Year Degree in Quality Control) · Toxicological Chemistry (3-year Degree in Quality Control) · Therapeutic Chemistry I (Three Year Degree Course in Scientific Information on Drug) · Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Master's Degree in Biotechnology of the Medication). Dr. Magli also actively participates in organizing and completing the practical exercises for the students in the courses of "Analytical Chemistry and Analysis of Medicines I", "Analysis of Medicines II", "Extractive and Synthetic Preparation Laboratory of Drugs "and" Toxicological Chemistry Analysis ". - In July 2011 he won a contract for an occasional research service to support activities under the project funded by the AIL (Italian Association Against Leukemia) titled : "Synthesis and characterization of molecules interacting with protease-activated receptors (Par) and evaluation of their antileucemic effects " , banned by the Department of Pharmacy and Toxicology Chemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Naples" Federico II ". - In December 2011 he received the Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology Science ( Pharmacy -Pharmaceutical Address, XXIV Cycle) at the Pharmacy Faculty of the University of Naples "Federico II", discussing a thesis titled " Synthesis of new serotonin reuptake ligands and evaluation of the antitumor activity , " under the supervision of Prof. Vincenzo Santagada. - In January 2013, Dr. Magli was the winner of the competition for qualification and examination at the School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy at the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples "Federico II". - In July 2014 he was awarded a check for the research activity under the PRIN project titled "Synthetic Development of new H2S donors useful in the study of the physiopathological functions of H2S" , CHIM / 08 disciplinary sector the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Naples "Federico II". - From August 2015, Dr. Magli works as a researcher at the Pharmacy Department of the University of Naples "Federico II" as a researcher at a fixed time (RTD-A, disciplinary science disciplines CHIM / 08). For a.a. 2015-2016 Dr. Magli obtained the teaching assignment of the Course of Toxicological Chemistry Analysis for the Degree Course in Quality Control; for a. a. 2016-2017 holds the teaching assignment of the Environmental Toxicological Chemistry Course Course for CTF and Pharmacy. Finally, Dr. Magli conducts compilation and experimental thesis programming. - In January 2017, Dr. Magli received the title of Hospital Pharmacist with a 50/50 vote and praise, discussing a thesis titled "The Pharmacist and the New HCV Therapies: The Experience of OU Federico II" . Dr. Magli's research in pharmaceutical chemistry focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of biologically active heterogeneous molecules on different pharmacological targets, with particular interest in the serotoninergic system.

Research Interest

From 2009 until today, Dr. Magli focuses on research into the design, synthesis and characterization of potentially active molecules on different pharmacological targets. Particular attention has been paid to the field of design, synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous molecules, concentrating their interest in the serotoninergic system. Additional interests include: (i) synthesis and relationship structure of heterozygous compounds to anti-prion and anti-HIV activities; ii) synthesis of peptide molecules and small molecules acting on the sphingosine-1-phosphate pathway; iii) development of new H2S donors useful to clarify the biological functions of H2S.
