Biography
Dr. Daniela Marasco graduated in Cihimica in 1998 at the University of Naples "Federico II" (110/110) with a thesis in Bioinorganic Chemistry and in 2002 received his doctorate in Chemical Sciences. From 2002 to 2009 he has been carrying out his research activity at the CNR Biostructures and Bioimaging Institute since 2009 and is a Researcher of General Chemistry and teaches General Chemistry and Structural Biology Techniques at the University of Naples Studies "Federico II ". Dr. Daniela Marasco's research activity is centered on the structure-activity relationships of biological macromolecules, the chemical synthesis of proteins, peptides and peptiodomimetics, the identification of peptide-like molecules such as protein-protein interaction modulators. These research topics are developed by combining chemical synthesis rules, mass spectrometry, spectroscopic techniques (circular dichroism, fluorescence) and biochemical interaction tests in vitro such as ELISA, SPR, ITC, FRET. Dr. Marasco is an author of about 96 journals on international journals (JACS, PNAS, NAR, Stem Cells, Nature Communications, Faseb J, Oncotarget), chapters of books, and four patents.
