Research Interest
Dr. Marinelli's research is part of the field of pharmaceutical chemistry and in particular in computational chemistry. To date, Luciana Marinelli has dealt with the definition of the three-dimensional structure of proteins and peptides of pharmaceutical interest through the most modern computational techniques (DG, MD, ab initio), the definition of binding methods of organic ligands or peptide to targets of pharmaceutical interest (molecular docking), design or retrieval of new drugs based on known receptor or ligand knowledge through virtual screening calculations (VS).
